About Us
Why Dragonfly MSP Exists
Dragonfly MSP was founded in early 2024 by Lawrence Prettyman and Robert Reinert. Drawing on more than 25 years of combined IT experience, they set out to give Kansas City businesses a more personal and proactive approach to technology support.
They had seen the same problems too often: slow responses, recurring issues, confusing explanations, and providers who waited for something to break. Those experiences shaped a company that listens first, communicates clearly, and looks for problems before they disrupt the workday.
Today, Dragonfly MSP supports small and midsize businesses across the Greater Kansas City area. Our team learns how each organization works, explains recommendations in plain language, and helps align technology with practical business goals.
That commitment to service earned Dragonfly MSP recognition as Best IT Provider in The Pitch Kansas City’s Best of 2026 contest. More importantly, it continues to shape every client conversation, support request, and technology plan.

How We Show up for Clients
Listen Before Recommending
Every business has different priorities, risks, and ways of working. We begin by understanding those details before suggesting services or changes.
Communicate with Clarity
Clients deserve to understand what is happening with their technology and why a recommendation matters. We provide straightforward explanations and keep people informed throughout the process.
Act Proactively
Technology support should extend beyond reacting to broken devices. We monitor, maintain, and plan with the goal of identifying issues before they become larger business disruptions.
Follow Through with Care
Inspired by a white-glove approach to service, we treat every concern as meaningful. If we fall short, our commitment is to address the concern promptly and make it right.
